- I am the editor of the editorial and op ed pages of Ystads Allehanda, a local daily newspaper published in Ystad, Sweden. At work I comment and blog on local, regional, national and international news and politics. I also happen to be an alumni of Hanover High School, Hanover, NH. My favorite place in the US is the San Francisco Bay Area. My interest for the US and for American politics go back to the JFK assassination – probably the earliest item of international news I can remember. Eleven years later, on one of my first days ever in the US, I saw Richard M Nixon resign on national televsion, and was hooked for life. My motto is: Pain Poetry & Professionalism
A few other facts
Ola Tedin does not play Golf, a primitive sort of agriculture popular in his neighborhood.
But he is the proud father of three children and a flamboyant holder of a Ferris Wheel operators licence and a driving licence for the classic manually braked roller-coaster (both acquired at the Liseberg Amusement Park in Gothenburg in the early 1980's).
He has also slaved for millionaires on yachts in the Carribbean, been arrested in Christiania, gotten in and out of university without much visible damage, been a spy at the Swedish Military Signals Intelligence Organisation (FRA), organized film festivals, imported Art House films, never written any books (nor published his poems), once managed to recite nearly 43 minutes of Monty Python (and lost by 19.7 to a younger and more drunken brother) and has (almost) rebuilt the house he lives in.
