The Greenby Blog

Welcome to The Greenby Blog – dedicated to my own views and impressions on World Politics Large and Small. Greenby is a home-made version of a swedish concept (Grönköping). It stands for one of those small, rural, isolated and self-important places one can find almost anywhere in the world.

About me

Ola Tedin
Gladsax, Skåne, Sweden
I am the editor of the editorial and op ed pages of Ystads Allehanda, a local daily newspaper published in Ystad, Sweden. At work I comment and blog on local, regional, national and international news and politics. I also happen to be an alumni of Hanover High School, Hanover, NH. My favorite place in the US is the San Francisco Bay Area. My interest for the US and for American politics go back to the JFK assassination – probably the earliest item of international news I can remember. Eleven years later, on one of my first days ever in the US, I saw Richard M Nixon resign on national televsion, and was hooked for life. My motto is: Pain Poetry & Professionalism
